A Captain of the British Parachute Regiment, heavily armed and clearly up for a scrap.
He's wearing a DPM parachute smock which was introduced in the late 1970's (replacing the famous Denison smock) and is armed with an SLR rifle which was fazed out of service during the late 1980s. So he could be serving in Northern Ireland or the Falklands War, on exercise in West Germany or maybe he's just ready for a Saturday night out in Aldershot?
This Para's SLR rifle is fitted with a Trilux (SUIT) sight and he also carries a M72 LAW anti-tank rocket, a Browning Hi-Power 9mm pistol (in shoulder holster) and at least one White phosphorus grenade.
